This achievement breaks the record for the longest climb to No. 1, surpassing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Lee, emotional upon hearing the news, expressed her joy and gratitude in a press release, thanking UMG for their efforts. This marks Lee’s first No. 1 hit since 1960.
