Today, Northlands Music and Arts Festival announced they will return to the lush fairgrounds of Swanzey, N.H., on June 16 and 17, 2023. The event will mark the second-ever Northlands Music and Arts Festival following 2022’s sensational gathering and will see performances by over 30 regional and nationally touring acts.

“After an amazing inaugural fest, 2023 planning has been in full swing for months.  We’re excited to bring a bigger and better experience to Northlanders next year,” shared Northlands Music and Arts Festival co-founder Seth McNally. “The Northlands community continues to grow, and we can’t wait to share the sweet vibe with more friends next year. All signs point North for an epic weekend; see you on the hill!”

2023’s event will be headlined by Colorado sextet The String Cheese Incident, Phish’s bassist Mike Gordon, the acoustic offshoot of Goose Orebolo, the tenderhearted and unhinged Andy Frasco and the U.N., along with Twiddle, whose performance will serve as one of their last headlining festival slot following their recently announced indefinite hiatus. The initial lineup is rounded up by the likes of Doom Flamingo, Karina Rykman, Dogs In A Pile, Neighbor, Kitchen Dwellers, and Too Many Zooz. The second wave of lineup additions will arrive in early 2023, followed by a final lineup and campground stage schedule in late winter.

Northlands Music and Arts Festival 2023 will also host a campground stage with exclusive performances from some of the Northeast’s best emerging acts, along with an on-site late-night silent disco for campers with DJs spinning until sunrise.

2022’s gathering saw over 12,000 attendees enjoy two full days of music and art, unique collaborations and New England’s finest artisans and food and beverage proprietors, and next year’s event only plans to build upon that successful foundation. A wide-ranging selection of local craft beers from New Hampshire’s Amoskeag Beverages will be available in an expansive beer garden. The event producers plan to maintain their adage, “Enjoy Life. Do Good,” and are committed to ensuring the festival will be a green and sustainable event in 2023 by eliminating single-use plastics and introducing an industry-leading recycling program.

Tier one ticket sales will go on sale on Dec. 2 at 12 p.m. ET with general on-sale, car camping, RV camping and VIP experiences available for purchase. Single-day passes will be released in the spring of 2023, pending availability.
