Lil Nas X’s ‘Holiday’ Soars To 2x Platinum Status

Lil Nas X continues to collect plaques. For, he has just earned another one for his song ‘Holiday.’

Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Lil Nas X’s song ‘Holiday’ has officially been upgraded to 2x Platinum status for the sales equivalent of 2,000,000 total units in the United States.

Originally, ‘Holiday’ served as a stopgap single between his ‘7’ EP and the release of his follow-up single ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name.’ 

The song was a moderate success on the charts and peaked at #37 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Outside of the United States, ‘Holiday’ peaked at #23 on the UK Singles chart.

Needless to say, a huge congratulations is in order for Lil Nas X.
