The Music.com.au | March 28, 2024

Curtis50 CentJackson has confirmed that he’s contributed to the release of a new documentary series about the sexual assault and trafficking allegations against SeanDiddyCombs. Diddy has faced five allegations of sexual assault and consequent lawsuits since November. He denies them all.

Earlier this week, Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by federal agents as they investigated allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault. In addition to those claims, Diddy is also being investigated for the solicitation and distribution of illegal firearms and narcotics.

Yesterday, a lawyer for Diddy described the raids as an “unprecedented ambush” and “excessive use of force and hostility”, per the ABC. Diddy’s lawyer added, “There was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr Combs’s residences.”

Hours after Diddy’s homes were raided, 50 Cent posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Now it’s not Diddy do it, it’s Diddy done ??‍♂️they don’t come like that unless they got a case”.

50 Cent confirmed the release of a forthcoming documentary series about Diddy on Instagram. Sharing a poster, the title of the series is Diddy Do It? 50 Cent wrote in the caption, “This is gonna break records when this drops.” However, as Forbes reports, the poster’s designer, Kode Abdo, said that the poster isn’t for an official show.

No other information about the documentary series has been made available at the time of publication.

50 Cent and Diddy have been embroiled in a feud for decades, with 50 Cent alleging that Diddy knew who shot and killed the Notorious B.I.G. in his 2006 track The Bomb. He shared the same insinuations as recently as December.

The pair have mocked each other in the media for many years, with 50 Cent previously stating that he doesn’t attend Diddy’s parties as he “hug you from the front and the back at the same time”.

50 Cent and Diddy are also competitors in vodka brands, with 50 Cent repeatedly referring to Diddy’s as “#nopuffyjuice” back in 2015.

In December, 50 Cent confirmed that his production company, G-Unit Film & Television, would produce a documentary about Diddy and the allegations, and proceeds would go to survivors of sexual assault.

50 Cent toured Australia in December. The Music writer Sam Mead described the show as “more than just a rapper at a concert—it’s an all-out multimedia art extravaganza beaming out into the cosmos.” You can read the review here.
