Billie Eilish is Teasing A New Album
Billie Eilish has confirmed that she is gearing up to bless our souls with some new music sooner than we think. She has confirmed in an interview with The Cookout, that there is an entire album in the final stages of production to follow Happier Than Ever. “There is lots of music coming,” she said. “There is a whole album of music coming. We’re in the final stages of making it, so that doesn’t mean it’s about to come out, but it is getting there and it’s very exciting.”

Drake Pays Tribute to Takeoff at Atlanta Show
Back in November, Drake had to reschedule his planned show at the Apollo Theater due to the tragic loss of Migos rapper, Takeoff. During his “It’s All a Blur” Tour show at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Monday night, Drake took a moment to pay tribute to Takeoff (Kirsnick Khari Ball), as the one-year anniversary of the 28-year-old rapper’s passing on November 1, 2022 is approaching. Drake recalled one of his early experiences in Atlanta, mentioning how he had joined the remix of the song “Versace.” He expressed his condolences, “Rest in peace to our brother Takeoff. He was one of my first friends in Atlanta, and that’s one of my earliest memories of Atlanta, getting on that track and feeling the love from the city.”

No More Concerts for The 1975
The 1975 frontman, Matthew Healy, announced during the band’s North American tour opener in Sacramento, California, that they will be going on an indefinite hiatus from touring once their current tour dates conclude—what?! He expressed gratitude to the audience for their support and mentioned that it’s been wonderful to have them at the show. The band has been on extensive tours for their recent albums, including “Being Funny in a Foreign Language: The 1975 at Their Very Best” and “Still… at Their Very Best” Tours. Healy’s wording suggests the hiatus pertains specifically to live shows, and the band often takes breaks between album cycles. Still waiting for more details about the hiatus, and hoping for the best.
