I Have a Modular Techno Show Tomorrow — Here’s What Actually Matters

I Have a Modular Techno Show Tomorrow — Here’s What Actually Matters Sign up for the Analog Kitchen Community Jam: https://forms.gle/W4hZaReuVEUp4XU77 Tomorrow I’m playing a modular techno show, and today I’m going through what actually matters when preparing a live electronic music setup. In this video, I’m using the 1010music Blackbox, the Elektron Octatrack, my modular system, and the Strymon BlueSky to prepare a live techno performance. But this is not just about gear. It’s about making decisions that survive on stage. When the show is tomorrow, perfect sound design is no longer the goal. What matters is structure, transitions, levels, movement, performance control, and having a setup that lets you recover when something goes wrong. The 1010 Blackbox gives me structure and sample playback. The Octatrack becomes the performance brain. The modular system brings the danger, movement, and live energy. The Strymon BlueSky adds space, atmosphere, and emotion. This is how I prepare a modular techno live set when there is no more time to overthink. If you are into modular techno, dawless live performance, Octatrack live sets, 1010 Blackbox workflows, hardware techno, or live electronic music, this video shows what actually matters before stepping on stage. #modulartechno #octatrack #1010blackbox #dawless #livetechno #modularsynth #hardwaretechno #strymonbluesky #electronicmusicproduction #analogkitchen
