Shadient Returns With “Wake Up (I’m Home)”

Making his return to NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s powerhouse Gud Vibrations imprint, Shadient has unleashed the lead single, “Wake Up (I’m Home),” off his forthcoming EP.

Showcasing his production prowess by engineering a high-octane bass hybrid that fuses the worlds of bass house, trap, and dubstep into one menacing audio assault fueled by a cinematic intro, exhilarating call-and-response, metallic stabs, and glitchy synths.

“Wake Up (I’m Home) is part of the HE IS HERE EP. I’ve been very inspired by abrasive art and images online. I like to look at photos of smashed glass, car crash test footage, slow motion footage of guns firing and footage of nuclear bomb tests from the cold war. I wanted to make music that really sounded the way those things looked: Visceral, violent, loud and rough around the edges. I think it’s good to have some music that sounds like a middle finger,” Shadient explains.
