From his timeless 2004 hit ‘Spiral’ to newer tracks like ‘Somewhere In Spacetime’ and ‘Heliopause,’ this Norwegian Trance DJ & producer based in the USA has been gaining more and more fans ever since, including support from the world’s top DJs like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, and Above & Beyond. He’s toured literally all over the world refining his original sound along the way. Despite changes in trends and challenges in the music industry, he keeps delivering outstanding production and authentic DJ performances, thanks to his distinctive style. 

Robert is one of those producers who never leaves his studio unless he has a gig, but being recognized as one of the most consistent producers in Trance speaks for itself. Growing up with an English father and a Norwegian mother led to his perspective on the world naturally becoming broad and unique. This could explain why his musical concepts consistently set the pace.

Robert Nickson finally released his first track for Subculture and he named it “In The Moment“. I began working on this track in 2019. I aimed for a catchy hook with a strong, growling bassline. However, I forgot about it until I rediscovered the demo last year. After making some updates and fixes, plus adding an extra bassline growl, it’s finally ready for release” – Robert shared. This uplifting 140 BPM festival anthem is designed to take over the stages that trance enthusiasts will be flocking to this summer.
