Golden Features Announces New Album, Drops Imaginative Single, “Flesh”

Starting off his 2023 in a stunning fashion, Golden Features has released his experimental new single “Flesh.”

“Flesh” is a epitome of Golden Features’ unpredictability. Rife with distortion, the track is an ode to the dark, industrial feel of dusky warehouse raves. Pounding, techno-inspired kicks guide us through an ominous arrangement with punchy synth stabs and vintage hip-hop vocal samples. This is Golden Features at his best, taking his forward-thinking sound to the next level.

In conjunction with the release of “Flesh,” Golden Features has announced a new album, Sisyphus, due out on July 7th via ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective. ODESZA and Features also comprise the BRONSON supergroup.

“‘Flesh’ was one of the earlier demos from the album’s writing process,” he said. “It was a direct response to my time in Berlin and a song that encapsulated everything I fell in love with on my journeys. I wrote it trying to express feelings of being under the weight of an 8 hour session in the rave. Overstimulated, anxious and completely terrified of facing the real world outside. Finally gathering the courage to call it a night experiencing the surreal shift that is walking out of a windowless dungeon into a beautiful sunrise.”
