Synthian regular Das Mörtal returns with new song

Over the years, Das Mörtal has become somewhat of a regular fixture here at Synthian. In 2020, we covered two of his releases, namely the video for his single ‘It Comes’ and his album Miami Beach Witches. Earlier this year, we interviewed the electronic act, and now we present to you, our dear readers, his latest offering, ‘IDÖL’.

Released under Lisbon Lux Records, ‘IDÖL’ is definitely not a peaceful track. In fact, it seemingly aims to upset the status quo, being that it thrums with a carnal, almost animalistic impulse. Ready to pounce, it lays in wait, watching until the listener is most vulnerable. 808s sink in their claws, dirty percussion smear, while driving kicks go for the gullet.

 “IDÖL is going to make you dance and bounce while we try to escape the pressures of society,” said the producer. With almost 100 shows under his belt, surely he knows what it takes to get fans off of their feet and out of the land of the civil. Listen now and see where he takes you next:
