2023 is just around the corner, and while amazing techno offerings were released through the entire 2022, it’s time to give the spotlight to the label that put out some of the most iconic ones.

Soma Records

Soma is one of the world’s leading electronic dance labels, and one of the longest running. Co-founded by Slam, it’s been putting out great music since 1991.

With more than 30 releases in 2022 alone, Soma Records is a play where we can find proper techno tracks, nurtured by the raw UK underground sound.

First release in 2022 was a VA Collective Process Vol. 4 with Oxygeno’s notable ‘Arrogance’. Rebekah x X-Tension, Johannes Schuster, Arnaud Le Texier, KMYLE, Helsmoortel are some of the names with releases on Soma, along with label bosses Slam whose ‘Mover EP’ marks a massive finish off  for 2022.
