LISTEN: ‘Falling’, The Bludgeoning Debut Single From Harper
From America’s Got Talent to the world.
So by now you will be very aware of Harper, the incredible ten-year-old who introduced mainstream America to Spiritbox with her performance of ‘Holy Roller’ on America’s Got Talent.
If not, here she is:
And here she is performing it with Spiritbox for good measure:
Anyway, she’s just released her debut single. And it is awesome. And it’s coming out on Pale Chord.
It’s called ‘Falling’ and is an ethereal and bludgeoning piece of modern metal, further showing off her incredible vocal abilities. It’s atmospheric, savage and forward-thinking, all at the same time.
And more than anything, it shows how much of a star Harper is already.
“Falling was written shortly after my cover of Holy Roller. This was the first creative process and songwriting process I’ve been a part of so it was super fun to create something I can call my own.
Spiritbox became my favourite band as soon as I heard them and they’ve shown nothing but love and support for me since day one, they really are some of the kindest humans I’ve ever met! Getting to perform with them in London was a dream come true and a memory I will cherish and be forever grateful for.
I am so excited to be working with Pale Chord for my debut single, the label have been nothing short of amazing to me and I’m excited to make some magic with them!”
