STAR SEED use AI-powered visualizer to bring ‘The Lines’ to life with Lexi Scatena [Watch]

STAR SEED‘s rampant release run isn’t coming to a close anytime soon. The Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 is now receiving an assist from Lexi Scatena, whose eloquent lyrics translate into an enchanting topline that sit on the duo’s newest original, “The Lines.”

The accompanying visualizer for “The Lines” helps to bring STAR SEED’s sonic story even more to life. Both the duo and Scatena elaborated on the creative process behind the video for their crossover, stating,

“We used a generative AI Google collab notebook called ‘Disco Diffusion’ in order to generate the animations via the cover art. We’ve been pretty deep into the AI space with audio and visual tools for the past few years, so being able to utilize it in our work is a lot of fun.” – STAR SEED

“Crafting this song was probably one of the most unique and experimental processes I’ve ever endured in a session, yet one of the most fun. Drew and Noah sent me the track and a synopsis of a book they wrote, so I took inspiration from it for my lyrics! Our track shares the perspective of the main character who decides to go on a treacherous journey in search for their older sibling, who ventured off during a storm into a forest to follow the lines.” – Lexi Scatena

STAR SEED are fresh off their debut performance at EDC Las Vegas where they earned a spot during NIGHTMODE‘s Rynobus art car takeover that also featured the likes of Knock2 as well as an all-Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch back-to-back from RemK and FrosTtop. “The Lines” comes on the heels of their previous release “Innocent” with Cafe Disko and Michaella—which received support from both Alison Wonderland and Gryffin—and STAR SEED are set to travel to Ohio for Breakaway Music Festival and Las Vegas for Insomniac‘s second edition of Lost In Dreams later this summer.
