‘The Fear Us’ gets that little bit bigger.

After announcing the details of their new record ‘They Fear Us’ earlier this year, Ithaca have now shared a new track for you to lose yourself in.

And it’s something else. 

Incorporating the ethereal and jaggedly poetic elements that this new era of the band has brought to the fold with the chaotic and crushing metalcore celebration of their older material, it is a melding of emotions and sounds in the most beautiful and brutal ways possible. It is also a moment that allows you to look deeper into what this record truly represents.

Vocalist Djamila Boden Azzouz had this to say about it:

“This is a revenge fantasy. Pleasure, blood, violent vengeance.

“There are moments that sound innocent and lure you into a false sense of security – contrasted with big riffs, aggressive breaks, whispers and sexual lyrics that reflect the true nature of the song.”
