Aion return to Mutant Disco following their highly impactful release Cosmic Void, reaffirming their place on the roster with a solo two-track EP that dives deeper into their evolving sonic philosophy. The opening track Ascension unfolds as a psychedelic, progressive trance journey built on an atmospheric framework and a deep groove bassline that steadily draws us in. Fragments of spoken word cut through the haze like transmissions: Take entire humanity, as our brothers and sisters… the causes of any problems, essentially, man made problems. The message is expanded further as the track strips back, reminding us that a warrior is not about perfection, or victory or invulnerability… hes about absolute vulnerability. The result is a hypnotic ascent where groove, meaning, and motion align. The EP closes with Future Echoes, pushing forward with Aions signature atmospheric depth.
