Afters at “1000” by The DJ Sessions is a new late-night live production experience in Capitol Hill created for people who want music, energy, community, and connection without the traditional bar or nightclub scene.

Located at 1000 E Madison, just a couple minutes from Pike, 1000 is a live production studio created by The DJ Sessions. Every night at 1000 is built around live production, filmed programming, DJ sets, silent disco, amplified performances, interviews, creative content, and limited-access participation inside the studio.

This is not a bar.

This is not a nightclub.

This is not a traditional public gathering space.

This is a live production studio where the audience becomes part of the production.

Be Part of the Production

For select The DJ Sessions productions, guests may participate as extras on set by paying a processing fee through our online system.

Participant spaces are limited for each production.

Processing fees may include access to available discounts, referral rewards, or possible free participation opportunities when offered through Ticket Fairy.

Membership options are also planned for early entry, discounted processing fees, and future member-only benefits.

What to Expect

Afters at 1000 features a rotating schedule of DJs, live mixes, open deck opportunities, amplified performances, silent disco, exclusive live streams, and creative programming produced by The DJ Sessions.

You may hear house, techno, bass, breaks, trance, drum and bass, open-format sets, experimental sounds, and whatever else the production calls for.

Open decks are available on a first come, first booked basis.

Safety First

1000 is an alcohol-free and drug-free production environment.

There is no tolerance for intoxicated, inebriated, or under-the-influence behavior. The goal is to create a safe, respectful, high-energy studio environment where people can dance, listen, connect, and take part in live production without the pressure or problems of traditional nightlife.

Free earplugs are available.

All participants agree to release and liability terms upon completing their processing fee.

No Cameras. No Video. No VIP.

1000’s no camera / no video participant policy is designed to create a deeper connection between artists, performers, production staff, and those taking part on set.
