Track: Sweet Baboo – Horticulture

Backseat Mafia | November 25, 2022

Sweet Baboo (Stephen Black) has shared the third track, Horticulture’ to be taken from his upcoming album titled ‘The Wreckage’, which is due on the 27th of January via Amazing Tapes From Canton.

Regarding the track Black comments:

“’Horticulture’ was a song that had been running around my brain for a good few years. I must have changed the words to the chorus about four or five times. It’s a song about my love of and, sometimes, failure to keep the house plants alive but also a note to self to keep fit and healthy.”

A cool rhythmic track that transfixes the listener with its steady hypnotic beat and Black’s gentle vocals. Striking synths create an eerie church bell vibe spicing the track up under the calm reassuring voice that dominates the track.
