Habstrakt conjures up frigid bass cut on KARRA-assisted tune, ‘Ice Cold’

Habstrakt’s distinctive production style and sound has seen him remix the likes of Skrillex & Diplo, MUST DIE!, Barely Alive, Kill The Noise, and Feed Me over the year, alongside his own original tracks. As Habstrakt continues to grow his distinctive style of house, bass, and dubstep into a catastrophic force to be reckoned with, he now teams up with popular EDM vocalist KARRA for “Ice Cold,” out now on Tiësto‘s imprint, Musical Freedom Records.

Working previously with the likes of Ophelia singee Far Out, SLANDER and Moody Good, and many more KARRA brings something different to this track than fans are used to. Tapering herself down in a lower register, she provides the lyrics for a high-energy electro-tinged bounce track

On the track, Habstrakt’s production style seamlessly blends bright melodies with carefully chosen samples and outstanding synth work. Discussing his new single, Habstrakt said the following in a press release:

‘’This next release is a big one to me, months in the work, 40 versions before getting it right. It’s raw, brutal, unapologetic, and honestly quite bizzare, and I’m so freaking proud of it.’’
