Prime Minister Boris Johnson, confirmed via a press conference

Nightclubs across England will soon be able to re-open their doors for the first time since March of 2020 as England’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, confirmed that the country is still on track with its current re-opening plan. The announcement was made on Tuesday, April 20 via a press conference on England’s Sky News.

Just last Monday, venues, pubs, bars, and restaurants with outdoor spaces were given the green light to reopen. Coincidentally, England’s latest announcement comes shortly after we reported that Scotland is planning on reopening at reduced capacities starting on May 17.

Although England is planning on lifting all COVID-19 restrictions on June 21, there is a possibility that this date may be pushed back, or pushed forward, depending on the progression of the country. Regardless, Prime Minister Boris Johnson seems very confident that the return of nightclubs and the elimination of all COVID-19 restrictions is right around the corner.

BREAKING: Prime Minister Boris Johnson says scientists are “firmly of the view there will be another wave of COVID at some stage this year”, and announces a new taskforce to search for “promising new medicines” to fight coronavirus.
